Last year, there was an excursion made southward for the weekend of Relief Society General Conference. We decided right then and there that this MUST be an annual trip! So, we started planning in August for this years, and it turned out to be just smashing :)

We decided to do this years' in the Park City so that the 49 of those that were pregnant would still be willing to make the trip and join us.

-I give you, the first evening-

Sabra grabbed me, Heather & Jessica and we met Megan up at the hotel.

What a glorious feeling.

no kids.

for 3 days.

We sat around and got things sit-chee-ay-ted for a bit, then decided to dine at Baja Cantina-
you know why!

Upon leaving our hotel to reach our destination, we decided we're kind of rock stars, what with our sun glasses, and the way we exit the building and all....

First stop-well second stop I guess, after eating- the outlets.

We were on a MISSION to find some lezh for this year, but all we could find in an assortment of colors was cute, or more than we wanted to spend, so we settled upon these beauties....they're the ugliest things we could find.
so we got a little comfy in them- wore them around the store for a bit- took a walk on the wild side if you will.

taking a group picture always helps us decide better..... i mean, it's not ever going to be as good as last years was. But we made our peace with it and decided that our Lovely Layered Lemon Lunch Lady Lezh

would just have to do for this years' trip.

Post outlets, and multiple let downs at Claire's to go with our Lezh- like hair extensions, leg warmers, head bands.....
we headed over to the store to get some sweet eats, and breakfast, and drinks and such- the necessities of such a trip.
When we got back "home" Jess got to work on her magazines and started sniffin up a storm, so I joined in!

our sweets The night was chill. We ate splendid treats- not pictured- cookies made by Mother Heather. They were delicious and quite professional!

We played 41 rounds of Scattergories and laughed our selves silly.

After sleeping in until 10:30-ish- (sigh of happiness) I awoke to start the day.

Jessica was super good and went and worked out that day, and came home to shower, only to find this:

we were dying, and sure we'd all suffer from gonorrhea soon....

Luckily, when we called the front desk, they reassured us that it would only last a moment. They'd had to shut the water off earlier that morning.

Good thing it went away because it was pure sick-uh-ning

I went along with my bid-ness making breakfast.

Meanwhile, Sabra just relaxed.
Cuz she could!then, when it had cooled off a little, we dug right in.Nothing gets the metabolism going in the morn like some carameled popcorn!!!!
Soon after our fat fest, we ventured out to enjoy the absolutely perfect weather poolside.

and Heather and I made some noodle chairs. No, I did not feel bad not letting anybody else use them all day.

Summer showed up not too long after and immediately started ordering Jorge-aka Jessica- around! :)

Everyone trickled in through out the day. All in all we ended up with 15 ladies of lezhure for the evening. It was glorious. Megan had suggested eating at Squatters for dinner, so, we did! Holy Yumminess!!!

While we waited for the rest of the ladies to show and for our table to be ready, I practiced up on my boarding skills.

NOW ON TO THE EVENING

Amazingly enough, the hotel had Friday night karaoke from 8-9:30. And thanking our lucky stars, we dashed right over there in a hurry after dinner to get our singing on!
Jessica-party planner extraordinaire :)- was SOOOOO excited!
We may or may not have taken over the karaoke night when we showed up. The 3 drunk gentlemen, 2 children and 3 other gals (who thought they were hot stuff, and continued to crusty our songs all night- no hard feelings) enjoyed us thoroughly though,thank you very much!

Jessica and I got our night rolling with a sweet rendition of High School Musical's

Before the rest of the crew showed up, Jessica, Heather, Janet, Tiff and I took it upon ourselves to designate them some mike time too. We knew they would never want to get their humble selves up on that floor and show their goods, so we gave them a little step in the right direction. For Summer and Wendy, we chose a fitting little number "I'm a Little TeaPot"
They executed it with perfection.
(and no I don't know why that paragraph is blue or underlined....)such fun! Nicolle vowed she would not be singing. But all she needed was an invitation and she was front and center!!! GO GALS!!!!

For our Finale number we decided upon "Wanna Be" from Spice Girls circa 98 or something- right? The whole gaggle got up-minus Heidi and Mej- WHATEV- but it was soooo fun!!!
So much exercise for this pregnant belly to endure, but endure we did!
this was the blonde side of the evening (well, minus Wendy)and some of the brownies. (+janet)

After getting our fill of the karaoke, we ventured back to our rooms to play.

awww- would you look at those cute bellies!we got into our comfies and just did what's most fun- gabbed and gabbed the night away.

of course we got to find out some deep dark secrets, and laughing ensued. Jorge strikes again

The second night Heather-the Girls Trip Mama- made us all little goodie bags of treats and stockings. They were full of cuteness and of course, Summer coerced Jess into placing her socks upon her feet.

ready for bed....although bed time didn't come for another oh, 3 hours or so....

Tiffy was tuckered, so she collapsed on the floor....

and post fabulous RS conference. What awesome talks! What a fabulous spirit. I love our leaders. I love this church. We are truly blessed to get to listen to them. What a sweet prophet we have. His words touched my heart, and I loved every minute.

Summer got to hang for about an hour or so more before she had to go relieve the sitter, so we painted nails, and I tried different treats and blew their essence into Summer's face while she breathed in deep and pretended to chew them up too. such a good eater she's being.

so, we retired for the night. We watched a Lil Baby Mama until we slowly tuckered out and journeyed to our beds.Next morning, we had a lot to pack up.
We're messy little girls!

And after getting the room all spiffied up, we made our way to Midway for a scrumpchoolescent breakfast at Chicks.....oh the goodness.

and the farewell picture of the weekend. So sad to see it end, but so stoked to get home to my family.
(and yes, my child is SUPER low....no need to remind me.)

oh ladies how i love thee. Every one of you!!!!! What fun this weekend was! Can't wait for next year!!!!!!! The memories are unforgettable and I love you all!!!!!
