Easton's Birthday

Easton turned six, I just can't believe it! He had a great Birthday! He got a great start to his day when a special visitor stopped by to see him and wish him a very happy day! Funny story... When Easton woke up that morning he said to me in a very pouty way "I bet Conli doesn't even know it's my birthday!" When I told him that someone was on there way to see him, he said "Oh, I hope it's Conli!!!" He was in heaven when she knocked on the door!
Next it was time to make the cake. Easton is definitely my kid. He gave me very specific instructions on his cake this year. He said he wanted a goofy alien with green frosting, because aliens are made of green goo! Then he told me it had to be sitting on the moon because that's where aliens go to eat cheese, he then changed his mind and told me to have it sitting on mars! After which he told me that the cake needed to be blue because alien insides are blue! Oh, and It had to have one big eye and one little, made of a big marshmallow and a small! Then he said if I wanted to add anything else I could! After AI made it, he informed me it felt to him like it needed one more eye!
I added the silly alien pet! The rest was all him!
I told my kiddos no parties with friends this year but they could pick where we went to dinner with the family and then we'd go home for cake and ice cream! Easton picked Tepenyaki!
We had a lot of fun and yummy food!
Hayleigh trying on Aunt Sarah's glasses!
The cook told Taylor this was all the meat he was getting... because Taylor asked him if his mom ever told him not to play with fire! Silly boy!
After filling his tummy to the max Easton leaned back and said "This is the Life!"
Then it was back to the house for presents!
and of course cake!
and Jokes... Everyone thought the cake was pretty tasty and Tiff said "all your cakes are good, but this one takes the cake" ha ha!
It was a fun day and Easton was thrilled with his cake masterpiece and all his fun toys! Thanks family for such a great day and Gifts!

Meet Cooper

That's right, there is a new pet at our house! Here is a look at Cooper's first day with our family!
Picking out our new puppy
Hayleigh SO excited to go home and surprise her brothers!
This is Cooper, he is a Maltese/shih-tzu puppy right now he is 7 weeks old and weighs a pound and a half. He will only grow to be between 6 and 8 lbs. He's Hypo allergenic and doesn't shed! We are going to litter box train him
Hayleigh with her new puppy
Taylor came up with the name Cooper all by himself
The boys were so happy and surprised, they couldn't stop smiling all day!
One sad baby girl, because Cooper didn't want her to hold him right then!
Puppy Love
I think... that the kiddos are in heaven with their new puppy!
Little Cooper... he's SO fluffy!
Tired after a long first day in his new home!
We've had Cooper a couple of weeks now and the kids still say everyday how much they love Cooper! Jeff and I like him too but are sometimes frustrated when he goes potty in the house... he's still learning! He has grown a little and now weighs two pounds!

Easton's First Day of School!

I can't believe that my baby boy is in kindergarten, where does the time go? He was SO excited to go to school this year! That makes me happy that he's excited to learn and grow! His big brother was also excited that they get to be in the same school! The poor kid had to wait a whole week after Taylor to start school, and he couldn't wait! Here is the big boy all ready to go!
Hayleigh wanted in all of the pictures!
He's so handsome!
My and my big boy
The proud papa
Getting to ride the bus for the very first time!
and of course I had to follow him over to the school to get a picture of him in his classroom!
He had a great first day and is loving school so far! It's going to be a great year!

Happy Birthday Tiffy!

My beautiful baby sister, and best friend had a birthday, and we celebrated all day long! How can you not celebrate such a great person, we love our Tiffy SO much! She is amazing and such a great example to me and my kids! We love you Tiff and had a great time playing with you on your day!
first up, lunch at Kneaders!

That night the family went out to dinner at Brick Oven
Grandpa and Hayleigh waiting for our turn
Me and Tiff with her requested cupcakes of choice!
But those who wanted cupcakes before dinner had to sing Tiff a birthday song to earn them, here is Taylor earning his cupcake!

Loving on the birthday girl
Our cooky family, crazy nuts... gotta love them!
Mom and her kiddos!
Then lastly Aunt Shelly asked what amazing cake I was making Tiff for her birthday, and said she wouldn't be surprised if I didn't make a replica of her head! So of course I told her she had read my mind and that was exactly what I made her! I think it turned out so life like that it is almost scary!
