Quick Catch Up!

Getting Ready for Vacation!
So as you can see, we're busy packing and getting ready to go to Disneyland! The boys are anxious and excited to get to the happiest place on earth! They're also excited about going on there first trip on an airplane! Any who I haven't posted anything real in a couple of weeks, and I felt like I should do a quick catch up before we head off! So here are a few of the fun things that we've done the past few weeks, and when we get back, you can be sure there will be a ton of vacation pictures to share!
~~~
Chuck E Cheese Fun!
Since the Knights were in Hawaii for Easton's birthday, and will be gone for Tay's we decided to go to Chuck e Cheese for family night to celebrate the birthday fun with the Knight's! We had a good time. Also as a side note, I won the jackpot on that fast finger game... 298 tickets! That's right baby, go me!!!
Lagoon!
Jeff's company had there summer party at Lagoon! We had a blast! It was good practice for Disneyland! The kids were great! Although the first ride we went on was the haunted house that's to left when you go into the park, don't worry, Taylor cried and Easton hid under the car the entire ride... maybe not the best choice for the first ride! Pretty sure they were ruined for life. When anyone asks how Lagoon was, that's the first thing they tell them!
Fowler Family Birthdays!
After the BYU game last weekend, the family came over to celebrate the August and September birthdays! We had yummy food, and lots of fun family time!!
Happy Birthday to Jared, Aubrey, Easton, Tiffany, and Nicole!
Reservoir... So not last weekend, but the one before we went with Janet and the kidlets to the Spanish Oaks Reservoir! We had a blast! Sun, sand and water, the boys were in heaven!! Thanks goes to Janet, for taking us to that way fun place! I couldn't believe all the red leaves!
Oh Yeah, and we painted Tiff's room...
Tiff turned 20 and decided she needed a big girl room. so she got new bedding, and decided to repaint. She wanted to paint it brown, mom thought it'd be too dark and suggested blue. So we compromised and did blue with fun brown stripes!! It turned out beautiful!
One Last Thing...
While Jeff was gone to his convention a few weeks ago my kids did the cutest thing and I emailed to tell him the story, I thought it was so cute I thought I'd share it with you:
Jeff, Hey babe I know that you are extremely stressed and busy but I just wanted to let you know that the boys and I are thinking about you and love you loads!! Only about an hour ago, I came into the kitchen and the boys were in the middle of sitting on the counter, making themselves snow cones... I asked Taylor why he didn't ask for my help, and he said that he was big enough to do it all by himself! Then he opened the fridge to reveal another snow cone waiting in there. When I say snow cone I mean bowl with very little grated ice, and full to the brim with juice!(that's the way daddy likes them, according to the boys)!! Anyway they said they made that one for daddy because they missed him so much and they wanted to surprise him and have a snow cone party for him when he got home!!! I let them know it wouldn't be till Sunday, Taylor was certain that it would last in there until then, so with much convincing we put it down the drain, I told him he could make you one when you got home!!
I thought it was cute, I hope you enjoyed catching up!
About the next post..
Hey the next post is soooo funny, if you don't laugh you have a serious problem! This is a short movie of Summer, Lisa, Mary, Janet and I showing off a hidden rare talent that we poses. It's not often that we share this talent with others so this is a special treat! But before you watch it make sure you pause the music on my play list, so that you can hear the movies sound!!
Happy Birthday Easton!!
Today is Easton's third birthday, he had a great day.... Although until about seven o' clock tonight he kept telling me; " I'm never ever turning three!" He now tells everyone that he is. Any who Easton is obsessed with cars, he watches the Disney movie "Cars" at least once a day, and he loves to play with toy cars all day long. So he decided that he needed to have a "cool cars birthday party!" So mommy gave it to him! Easton's family and friends came over and we started the party with hot dog cars for dinner! After everyone filled up we started the games. We played bean bag toss through the tires hanging in the tree, red light green light, and then "pit stop". Which is a game I invented where you change the tires on a car and fill it with gas!! The kids had fun pretending to be on a pit crew!
Then the race was on... We had the first ever
"Easton Cup"
We spray painted a race track on the grass in the backyard and the kids raced in pairs in the race cars that Jeff and I had made. Then they all raced and ran to there little hearts content! After which they came and sat in the winners circle and all received there very own miniature "Easton Cup" trophies, It was a big hit!
Last but not least came presents, and then the much coveted CAKE & ICE CREAM! Yummy!
I thought it would be fun to make Easton his very own birthday race car cake! He thought it was "so awesome mommy"
Thank You to all our family and friends who helped us in celebrating Easton's birthday!!
Back to School!!
Preschool Time Is Here...
Well the time has come for Taylor to go back to school. Wednesday was the first day of class for the new year. He was so excited for the first day of preschool, that he could hardly contain himself! An hour before school was supposed to start Taylor wanted to put on his brand new school outfit and take pictures all over to document his big day! He couldn't wait to see all his friends from last year, and kept telling me that he wanted his picture with them and his teacher too!
This is Taylor with his teacher Mrs. Heap! Taylor was very excited to go back to Mrs. Heaps class!
This is Taylor doing his G.Q. for the camera!!
Can I just say how much I love this kid!
As Summer Comes to an End...
When it gets to be this time of year I start to feel a little sad that summer is coming to an end, but I'm grateful for all the fun things that we were able to do this summer. It really has been a great one! Here are a few of the things we've done as summer has come to an end...
Camping at Clyde Creek!
This last weekend me and the boys went up and met my family camping , we had a blast up there! The boys love camping and getting dirty, to them there's nothing better! Taylor was way excited to see his Friend Kaiden there! Thank you mom, dad, and Tiff for letting us crash your trailer!
Grandpa and Taylor Loved four wheelin' but Easton wasn't so sure, he wanted everyone to race him on foot on the racetrack (dirt road) instead, and after wearing everyone out with all his energy he did finally get up the nerve for a short ride with grandma Garner!
Holla, Where my girls at?
Once every six months or so my girls from high school and I go out to dinner to visit and catch up! It's loads of fun to see the girls once in a blue moon! This is me, Laura, Kristen, Mindo, and Mindee. Our other girl Abby is out of the state so we miss her on our summer dinner, but we're always excited to see her at Christmas time!
Tiffany's Birthday Party!
We had a great time at auntie Tiffy's birthday Party with our family and Tiff's friends, my kids loved to play out front with the neighbor kids best!!
Soccer!
It's always fun watching exciting 4 Year old soccer games. Taylor was more interested in the after game snack then in the game this day!!
Swinging!
spending time playing in your own backyard, can be a great time on a nice summers day!!
So as sad as it is to say.... Goodbye summer, and thanks to you for all the fun filled memories! Now it's time to look forward to fall. Hey new season of clothes, and I'm ready for it to cool down a little!
Last Trip to Veterans...
The kiddies were so sad when I told them this would be our last time to swim at the Veterans pool for the summer!! That was before kids under 5 were no longer allowed in public pools!
We were glad that the Garner's and Silva's could join us for one last swim!
