Meet our new family member...

Hayleigh Ann Knight
July 29, 2008
7 lbs 10 oz, and 19 inches
We are so excited for our new baby girl to be here in our family! I got induced on the 29th, the hospital finally called us to come in around 1pm. When we got there things were still a little crazy in labor and delivery, so it wasn't until three that they got me hooked up and going on the pit! The doctor was going to come and break my water around four, but that ended up being more like 5:30. At 6:30 when the nursed checked me she said I was a 6 but the head was there so she called the doctor immediately. she got there ten minutes later and I was complete and ready to go. Then another nurse popped her head in and told the doc she needed to deliver the girl in the next room first. (she was ready too, but had no epidural, and couldn't wait!) So I got to wait. Jeff said that we should just wait and try to have her at 7:29 on 7/29. The nurse and I looked at each other and said "No we don't want to wait that long". While we were waiting the nurse checked after every contraction to make sure she wasn't coming on her own, she didn't want to deliver her, she doesn't get paid for that! Then it was my turn to push... two contractions, and four pushes later, our little Hayleigh was here! And at 7:29, go figure! So my labor was four and a half hours, it probably would've been two and a half, if it wasn't so stinking busy, but what are you going to do! Thanks to the drugs I wasn't in any pain. I even took a cat nap! My nurse was great, and Dr. Grover was fabulous to induce me on her birthday!
Tiffany and my mom were there to share in my delivery! Tiff was always saying she didn't want to have kids, so we let her watch to see what a miracle it really is! I think she thought it was a neat experience, and I'm glad they could be there with us!
Here's the gang in the delivery room about ten minutes after she was born!
Jeff was SO excited to get his pink wristband, he couldn't wait!

It was like Christmas morning for the boys, they couldn't wait to come and meet their new baby sister! Easton keeps telling me he's so proud of me to get "our baby" out of me to come home! Taylor patted my tummy, and told me it was still a little puffy, but not to worry it'll go down!

Our little family! We all love her so much, the kids can't walk past without giving her kisses!

We had lots of friends and family stop by to meet and greet our new little angel! To see more pictures of the family and waiting to see her, click on "Sarah" on my list, she posted a bunch she took! Thanks Auntie Sarah!

Again the "Big Proud Brothers"

The Girls Getting Ready to Come Home!
These were some of the signs on mine and Hayleigh's doors to welcome us home!

We are all a little tired and are adjusting to our family of five, but we are loving every minute of it!

Ange,
She looks more like Taylor than Easton. At times I see a little of both, but she really has a look of her own! Only time will tell! But we sure think she's the cutest thing ever! Thanks for the loves!
