10 weeks and counting...

That's right, today I am officially 30 weeks along, and the countdown is on! We are all getting really excited to see what our new family addition will look like! The boys can't walk past me without kissing my ever growing tummy and talking to their new little sister! They are always telling me that they love her and what fun things they are going to do with her and to help out! She is very active and is always making my stomach do funny tricks, which Taylor finds hilarious! As excited as we are I know the time will go by so fast, which to be honest scares me a little bit, because I'm not quite ready for a baby around here! I know, it's a little too late! I'm perfectly content with ten weeks still to go! We have a lot to do around here to get ready. But at the same time, I really can't wait to see what a little girl will look like, and I'm so excited to watch my boys with their new baby sister! Jeff is looking forward to being the proud papa of a little girl. He is so good with the boys, I can't wait to see how he is with a little princess! We are all just so excited for a new member in our family!

This last weeks fun...

Last Soccer Game!
Tuesday was Taylors last soccer game, and we actually had good weather! I think that it's a good thing the season is over. Tay was done playing for the year! But he did have a good time with his buddies and team mates!
The so in love Conli and Easton playing during the game!After the game the kids got medals for a good season!
Then we took a few team pictures and had a pizza party! Thanks to the coaches!

The Next Morning,
Getting ready to go to the
Arm Doctor
Where it was decided that Easton needed a hard cast for at least four weeks! They are hopeful that that is all we'll need! And Easton was so excited to show the world the color he picked...
he tells everyone, ITS GREEN!

Tobey's Birthday Party!
Thursday we went to Salem pond to have a fun time at Tobey's dinosaur birthday party! It was a lot of fun, Happy Birthday Tobey!

Children's Museum!

Sorry for the late post, I'm trying to play a little catch up here! This was obviously pre-broken arm! We decided it would be fun to go to the Gateway and spend the day at the Children's Museum with the Mckee's and we had a blast! We were there for at least four hours! The kids would have stayed four more if we would have let them!

Giddy Up Cowboy!
May I get you a sandwich?
Construction Zone!
Making mini Maypoles!
The kids had so much fun playing in all the different exhibits and playing the roles that went along with them! If you've never been before, I would definitely suggest going! When we were leaving the weather was so great that we decided to get some ice cream and play in the fountain!Easton won the prize for the most wet, hands down!

Not that they all didn't get a little wet though!
The kids played hard all day, and they loved every minute of it! Which I am grateful for because it was only the next day when Easton broke his arm!

It's Broken...

So if having his tonsils out the beginning of this year wasn't hard enough on the kid, yesterday
My poor baby broke his little arm, which broke my heart! He was jumping on the tramp with Taylor and his cousin Sadie when he started screaming. I came running to get and comfort him and to see what had happened, and he was sitting on the tramp holding his arm. I think he maybe caught one of the double bounces from the bigger kids and came down on it just wrong. Easton is usually easy to comfort and gets over things quickly but he wouldn't stop screaming and crying, so we were off to the emergency room!
after two sets of x-rays and lots of tears it was decided that he had fractured his humorous bone right where it meets the elbow joint... OUCHY! so they put a half hard cast on and told us to go to the orthopedic in a few days to see how they want to follow up with a real hard cast!
After a long and tearful night, on my end... He's doing a little better today but it still really hurts him. Although he does think he's cool because he has a sling just like grandpa and uncle Pookie! (They both had surgery on their shoulders) We could all use a little rest but we are on the mend! I hate to see him sad and in pain, so we are hoping that he'll have a quick recovery so he can enjoy all that summer has to offer!
~~~
Okay I had to add this because it was so cute! This morning as we were getting ready for the day, Taylor says to me; "Mom the next time I see a shooting star, I'm going to wish on it that Easton's arm could get well so soon!" How sweet is he? He really is such a good big brother! -May 5, 2008
End Of April Fun!
Here are a few of the fun things we did in the end of April!
Monkeying around
at
The Zoo!
Aunt Tiffany had the wonderful idea to spend a fun afternoon at the zoo! We had a great time with her and the Mckee's that day. We ate ice cream, posed with statues, made fishy faces, measured up to the monkey's, oh and of course saw all the animals! Thanks aunt Tiffy for the fabulous idea!
Super Villians Beware!
One afternoon when it was cold and mommy had to get out of the house, we called our good friends the Mckee boys and crashed their house to play all afternoon! Thanks for all the fun!
Ball Game and Snacks with Dad!
In reality this is my children stalling for bed with daddy! Eating yummy snacks and watching the game for daddy time was their excuse for staying up! But they had a blast!
