November Disneyland Trip!
We decided to sale our trailer because we never used it, the deal was if we sold it we would take a little trip to Disneyland with the proceeds! So about two weeks after it sold we headed out to the coast for some family fun!
~~~
We stopped the on the way down and stayed the night in Vegas with Kasey and David!While we were there we made a little stop on the strip and M&M world! The kiddos love that place.
Looking out at strip from M&M worlds upstairs window
Hayleigh and Yellow raising the roof
I lost my "M' in Vegas 3D movie!
Mary and her boys came and met up with us for a little bit while we were there... next up a massive group lunch!
The boys were thrilled to meet a few Transformers!
and seeing lizards!
we headed over to a little shopping center after that so the kiddos could run lose in the park for a little bit!
After a fun day with friends and family we drove the rest of the way to California.
~~~
When morning time came around our plan was to hit the beach but a bunch of rain clouds ruined that plan. We didn't want to spend our first day at Disneyland in the rain or on the weekend because of crowds. So after some debate and a quick trip to Walmart to buy some poncho's we decided we'd spend the day at California Adventure!
Hayleigh was SOOOO excited she couldn't contain it!
the boys were in serious planning mode!
and then we were there!
Hayleigh was thrilled to find an Ariel poster, she could have been done there! In fact we took her picture with all these posters every single time we passed them!
The boys getting ready to give California Screamin a try. They decided on the way over they would try it once and see if they liked it!
We had a dance party in the streets with some Monster friends!
and then with a little convincing, not as much as I thought it would've taken... we got the boys on Tower of Terror! Taylor liked it a lot, Easton wasn't convinced and said once was enough for him!
then we spotted our very first character! Pluto, Hayleigh thought it was super cool!
then we headed to the pier for more adventure!
The Boys and Amy got on Screamin first thing!
They LOVED it and couldn't get enough of it the rest of the week!
after the big thrills we had some family fun on one of our favorite's Toy Story!
Then Hayleigh and Daddy rode Triton's Merry Go Round while Amy and I took the boys on Screamin again!
Posing with the fishes on the way to get lunch.
that night we hung out at the home of Tron "Electronica" it was a thumpin party, nice and loud!
It was a fun filled first day in Cali and it certainly wore out little ones! It Ended up being a rain free day, a little cooler but we didn't have to bust out the poncho's!
We were all starving by the time we got back to our Castle for the night, so we did a $5 hot and ready pizza run and pigged out! It was fun to all hang out, eat and talk about our fun day!
Blakey Boo was happy to lay out on the bed and stretch!
~~~
After a good night's sleep we were more than ready Monday morning to head to DISNEYLAND!
but first thing's first we had to get a picture or two in front of Amy's Hotel Castle!
Bunch of posers... looking pretty cool if I do say!
Ye-pee we are at Disneyland!!!
The Mad Hatter was out to greet us
and Alice too!
Here we go!
first stop, the Tiki Room! The kids turned into scavenger birds and ate all of Amy's delicious Dole Whip while we watched the show!
Blakey loved all the singing and birdies!
When we came out of the Tiki room Hayleigh spied her first princess! There is nothing better than watching your kids light up when they see a favorite character, or get excited to ride a favorite ride, or eat a favorite food at Disneyland! I just love it there, the atmosphere is the best thing ever!!!
Hayleigh bug and Princess Jasmine happy as can be!
checking out Tarzan's tree house
The first big adventure of the day was a little journey through The temple of Doom! The boys had decided that they were going to try everything, Jeff was loving every minute he got to do new big things with his boys! They look nervous here before getting into the jeeps... they were!
But they had a blast!
and while they took a second spin on it Hayleigh, Blake and I took another turn through the tree house!
Amy and Easton made a plan of attack while we had a like snack break!
we did some Haunted Mansion and then headed to Whinnie the Pooh!
When we came off Whinnie the Pooh and spotted some friends in the 100 acre woods!
we met Tigger
and Pooh!
We only made it through half the park the first day. When the sun set it got cool quick so we put on our jackets and hit some more rides! But first we stopped to take a picture or two in front of the beautiful lit up castle!
Hayleigh looking grumpy with the white rabbit
more pretty castle memories!
Blake's favorite thing to play with all week was our empty water and pop bottles!
When it was time to head back to the castle Amy and Hayleigh stopped for some Churro's for the gang to eat on the way back!
Our cute family after our fun day at Disneyland!
Me and my Blakey Boo Boo
Amy and Hayleigh decided to unwind by playing plants vs zombies on the Ipad!
and of course some Tron fun in the hotel room! What a fantastic end to a fantastic day
~~~
Day number three in Cali started in the pool for the boys!
and then it was Back for day two of Disneyland goodness! We planned to finish what we didn't get done the day before, and then redo our favs! We were gretted by a very grumpy Queen of Hearts when we arrived!
Then while we were walking to Star tours Hayleigh spotted her very favorite princess... Ariel!
She ran up for a big hug and picture with her! It made her whole day!
After spending the morning in tomorrow land we decided to take a ride break and meet some fairies in Pixie Hollow!
First we meet Silvermist, she was very friendly!
Then we got to visit with the very chatty Tinkerbell and Vidia. The talked non stop, the kids loved every minute of it, they were very funny and silly. They told the kiddos the couldn't be Knight's because it was day time! Tinkerbell LOVED Hayleigh and told her they were new best friends and that they would be BFF's!
Here's the whole gang with the goofy fairies!
The boys were ready for a thrill after what they thought was to much girly time in Pixie Hollow! So it was off to the Matterhorn!
Then it was this way to Fantasy land for this gang!
After some fantasy land fun we took a break for some Mickey Pretzel snacks! on our way to Toon Town!
As we walked into Toon Town the first thing we saw was Goofy! So we had to Goof off a little for a photo op!
Then we decided to Give Roger Rabbit's a spin!
Then we made our selves at home in Toon Fashion!
We headed down the lane to Minnie's House and she was out on the front porch!
We stopped by Mickey's but he was out!
Next on the street was Chip and Dale's Tree House! Hayleigh Blake and I hung out here while Jeff, Amy and the boys went on Gadget's Go Go Coaster!
Goofy's House was decorated all silly for Christmas, SO cute! We loved all the fun Christmas decorations through out the park!
After Toon Town and Some Nemo Submarines we were ready for some Pizza Port! We needed some refueling before hitting up Space Mountain!
The Kiddos were Brave yet again and Loved Space Mountain! We let the kiddos each pick one last ride for the night and then looked though a store or two before heading back to our castle! Blake looked So cute in this coonskin hat we had to get a picture!
Hayleigh's pick for last ride was Tea Cups! Hood thing Aunt Amy loves the Tea Cups, because Jeff and I... not so much!
Another day of fun tuckered Hayleigh right out! She didn't even make out to the parking lot area!
Blake however was wide awake and ready to stretch and roll back at the hotel castle!
~~~
We decided to spend Day 4 at California adventure again and Blakey was ready and excited to go!!!
Our Family at the New entrance to the Park!
Hayleigh posing with her map and hat with one of the many Ariel posters (I literally have at least ten pictures of her with these, It got to the point where we pretended to take the pictures!)
The kiddos went off to explore in the Up adventure area while Amy, Blake and I rested on the Benches outside. It was a peaceful start to our day!
After riding Ariel a few times in a row we headed across the Pier for some fun on Screamin and Toy Story!
On the way over we spotted Mickey, we were super excited to finally see him! He was all ready for Christmas!
It was fun to watch Blakey meet him for the first time, he was very cute with him!
the kiddos giving him big bear hugs, they were SO happy!
and then we screamed it up!
One of our favorite Disneyland things to do, have a good ol' treat!
Jeff and Ames enjoying their massive ice cream cones!
on our way to bugs land we passed some Cars we recognized and thought we'd say hello! The pictures for the new Cars land look awesome, we can't wait to get back and see it when it's done!
Hayleigh loved Heimlich's Chew Chew Train and we rode it a couple of times in a row! Then she made friends with the butterfly!
Easton decided since he knew what to expect that he'd give the Tower another try! After that he LOVED it, I think they rode it at least four more times that day! Jeff was loving it. Such fun with his big brave boys. If there was even a tiny line for Screamin, Space or any of the big rides they would do single rider!
We saw Sully, or Kitty on our way our ride Monsters Inc and had to get a picture with him!
We also saw Stitch wandering around and took a picture with him too! Hayleigh thought he was the cutest thing!
OH NO run here comes a Tron Recognizer!
Then it was time for... drum-roll... turkey legs!
Man oh man the boys love those turkey legs
and Amy too!
what goes better with turkey legs than Cheetos? Look at those orange fingers!
We'd never seen the Muppet 3D movie so we did that next, It was funny all of us really liked it! Another one of our favorite things to do in this area was talk to Crush, After Muppets, we went in to talk to Crush and we were the only ones in there so we got to sit and chat with him all by ourselves, we were super bummed that the camera was with Amy and Blake out in the stroller! But what a fun memory to have! We also spent a lot of time learning to draw Disney characters in the sketching class in that building!
Then it was time to head over and get our spots for World of Color. The boys had fun picking on Amy while we headed that way!
We all LOVED World of Color, It was the funnest show and super neat to watch! It was a fantastic way to end our great day!
~~~
The next day it was back to Disneyland for us! We were all excited to do all our favorites again! First thing when they opened Jeff and Amy took the big kiddos over to the park while I stayed home and feed Blakey and cleaned up the hotel a bit! After grabbing some fast passes for Star Tours, They hopped on the tea cups right away!
After the tea cups they jumped on the train and took it back to Main Street so they could see the prehistoric Dinosaurs that Taylor loves SO much! And It dropped them off right by the entrance so I could meet up with them!
We decided it was time to meet Rapunzel, but we had to stop by Snow White's beautiful fountain. This was a favorite of Hayleigh's she wanted to pass it every chance we got!She kept telling us how much she loved it, and that maybe someday she'd meet the real Snow White!
After about a 30-40 minute wait we got to go into Rapunzel's cottage and meet her! She was So cute and super fun with the kiddos. They asked her all kinds of questions and she was more than happy to answer. She even told them Flynn was out feeding Maximus some apples! Then she let Hayleigh hold her hair for our picture!
Then she talked to just Hayleigh for a little bit, she made her pinky promise that they could be best friends. Then when Hayleigh told her she was growing her hair out just like Rapunzel's, Rapunzel told to her to come back when it touched the floor to show her!
After meeting Rapunzel and having some lunch we headed over to New Orleans Square for some Haunted Mansion time!
When we got there we saw some familiar faces! We love the Haunted Mansion this time of year because it's made over into the Nightmare Before Christmas! And we love Jack and Sally! They were fun to meet and They told us to have a horrible day!
We headed back to Critter Country from there to ride Splash Mountain and Whinnie the Pooh! Amy bought some Marshmallow treats and we had to capture the moment for Sarah's sake!
She even got Hayleigh a bag of all pink Jelly Belly's what a great Auntie!
The girls were ready to meet some princesses, so we sent the big boys off to ride the roller coasters while we waited in line at the Fantasy Faire to meet some Beautiful friends! We got to meet Tiana first!
Next up was Ariel. She showed Hayleigh her human legs, and then they danced together before posing for pictures!
and then came Belle, she gave a sleeping Blakey Boo true loves first kiss! She thought he was just the cutest thing ever!
She was so beautiful and played cute with Hayleigh!
After we finished meeting the three princess, the duke that was working at the end of the line told us the Princess were going to switch to three new Princesses, and that the line was very short because of the parade. So we decided to hop back in the line and hope that we got to meet three different Princesses! Hayleigh got her face painted while Amy waited and by the time she was all painted and sparkly it was time to meet a new batch of beautiful friends! First up was Aurora, she and Hayleigh matched in their pink dresses!
Then she got to meet Mulan who gave her lots of loves and chatted for a little bit!
and lastly was Cinderella. Hayleigh was in Princess heaven! She was stoked to get to meet all the princess that she loves to play with at home! She could have stayed at the Fantasy Faire all day!
But it was time to meet Daddy and the boys for the parade! While we were waiting for the parade daddy spoiled the kiddos with a souvenir, The boys made light sabers and Hayleigh got a baby Ariel doll!
Then we got some yummy churros and got ready for the fun to begin!
The parade was fun for all, even the big kids loved it!
after a few more rides they announced they were going to do a preview of the holiday fireworks a day early. The kids were pretty tired so we grabbed a spot and just relaxed while we waited for the fireworks to begin! Hayleigh and Easton didn't even make til the fireworks started! After they were over we woke up Easton to walk back to the hotel.
We had no such luck with Hayleigh she was out for the count! Taylor wasn't ready to go back, so Amy and I took the rest of the crew back to the castle while Jeff and Taylor had some quality boy time riding Thunder Mountain three more times!
Blake however was wide awake and glad yet again to be able to stretch and roll back at the hotel!
~~~
Then sadly came the last day of our Disney fun!
We decided to hit up Denny's before we headed over to the parks to get fueled up for a very full day of adventure!
We planned to do everything we wanted to do one last time at California Adventure before heading over to Disneyland to do the same!
We rode Ariel and then headed back to Paradise Pier to ride Screamin and Toy Story. After we got off Screamin we got to meet Buzz!
Then when we got off of Toy Story we saw Jessie!
We finished up at California Adventure by riding Monsters Inc and Tower of Terror, and then we said goodbye until next time!
***
We were greeted at Disneyland by Pinocchio!
And then Easton Lost his tooth! They made him an Honorary Citizen of Disneyland and told him that not only was it lucky to loose a tooth at Disneyland, but extra lucky to loose a tooth at Disneyland on 11-11-11! He was SUPER excited!
We did a bunch of rides in Adventure Land, like Jungle Cruise and Indiana Jones then we headed back to Fantasy Land. We took a quick minute to take a family picture in front of the snowy topped castle before going back to ride Snow White, Mr. Toads and Peter Pan.
Of course we had to stop at the Tea Cups!
Then we headed to Small World, It had been closed all week while it was getting all decked out for Christmas and we were very excited that it opened before we left!
We LOVED it all made up in it's Christmas decor! As soon as we got off, Hayleigh said AGAIN!
Hayleigh and I decided to go to a coronation ball while the rest of the gang went to ride Space Mountain and Matterhorn! They taught her how to wave and curtsy like a princess and how to dance for a ball! She was in heaven yet again! After the ball the Princess stayed around to meet their little friends. Hayleigh was thrilled because after passing the fountain time and time again, she got to meet the real Snow White!
She even got to say hello to Aurora again! She sat down to take a picture with Hayleigh and put her arms around her. Hayleigh stopped her and said "Let's do princess hands for the picture" and then showed Aurora how it was done! It was SO funny!
When the big kiddos were done with their big rides they meet us for some dinner! Easton had a hard time eating turkey leg and corn on the cob without his two front teeth!
While we were eating dinner we heard a ceremony going on in front of Small World and then they lit it up and lots of cheers! It was pretty cool! We decided we had to go ride it one last time before we left!
at Disneyland on 11-11-11!
We had a blast and rode lots more rides before we headed out that night. We also watched Fantasmic! It was sad to say goodbye but we were all ready to head home to our own bed the next morning!
~~~
Before hitting the road we took the kids over to Downtown Disney to pick out one more souvenir. We didn't have a chance to grab one the night before, we were too busy riding and playing until midnight! Easton had to check out the Lego store of course!
and Taylor couldn't pass up the opportunity to pose with the Dino Head ant the prehistoric jerky cart!
and the last picture of the trip was the kiddos in front of the Pin Trader sign. They traded pins for the first time this trip and they loved it, it was fun to see all the different pins and try to find the ones they wanted!
It was such a nice and relaxing week, the kids were angels and so much fun! I can't imagine a better week!
