Welcome to The Lake House!
FRIDAY
The boys wasted no time getting into their suits and heading down to the lake!
Our favorite jumping rock was way under water this year, so Jason set out to find a new jumping rock this year... or jumping cliff for that matter! Taylor didn't hesitate to give it a try!
they had fun playing in the lake until the sun set!
Hayleigh wanted to go stick her feet in the lake for a minute too before it was dark!
SATURDAY
Saturday morning everyone was up and off to the parade!
the kids had bags in hand ready for all the candy that came their way!
then it was back to the lake house
for a little rest
and some lunch and snowcones before heading to the lake to play!
First stop at the lake... the jumping rock
I love my boys
Daddy first

then back to the lake house for some catch
and caramel corn and games
while we were out on the deck playing games Easton was in taking care of his baby brother.
SUNDAY
Sunday morning everyone relaxed and read before getting ready for church.
After church is when the fun started. It started with a little doggy pile on David... or Pookie #2
then a little of serious... 1 2 3 fake laugh
even Blake could do it!
then we moved on to the shakey face game
Randy was the pro and had to show everyone how it was done.
next up, Rock-star! There isn't a whole lot to do on Sunday afternoon, but we sure had fun playing games with the camera!
Hayleigh really liked this one
Monsters
and last but not least was Superman!
Some people took a long time in planning their execution!
and when the kids were tossed in the air the got major height!
after all that fun we were a bit worn out and decided to just chill!
playing the Nintendo,
and visiting,
loving the dog,
and laying around!
Later that afternoon Jim and Liz shared a new treat to make over the fire!
Crescent rolls filled with chocolate pudding and cherry pie filling topped with whip cream. They were yummy!
we sure had fun making them.
It was a nice relaxing Sunday!
MONDAY
Easton slept in a little bit
but first thing this morning they had a child size triathlon. Taylor even did it, way to go buddy! Then there was some swimming in the shallows.
back at the house we played with lizards
we had five at one time, can you see them all?
Inside there was a different game of superman going on
Rachel was the pro and showed us all how it was done.
Taylor picked up quick
then he tried to lift temporary Pookie!
Jeff and Fay just watched this time
Taylor was sure to place the feet where they were supposed to be.
While they were playing other relaxed and read, or gathered in the kitchen to snack and visit.
These guys were having so much fun they couldn't stop laughing
Taylor giving Amber a lift
and then he became David's pillow
Grandma had fun loving on Blake
Then it was game time.
One group played Ticket to Ride, Woot Woo
while another crowd played sorry.
After games it was time to soak up some sun down at the lake!

Out on the tubes
Taylor loved being in charge of the flag
Taking a spin in the canoe
then jumping at the jumping rock!
and of course swimming

Hayleigh being a poser and doing some voluntary modeling!
One last jump for all from the jumping rock!
Taylor using his goggles to check out the tiny fish swimming near shore

and Hayleigh fishing with a twig, she didn't catch anything.
Easton went very slowly on the tube with Kristen and dad.
then it was time to pack up and head back over to the lake house for some dinner
Taylor took the canoe back with grandpa
After dinner we packed up our things and said our goodbyes to our fun family. We had such a great weekend and didn't want to leave. Thank You Jess and Deanna for always letting us all come up and spend this fun and crazy weekend together!
On the way out the kids got to say goodbye to the lizards and to a frog that J-man caught right by the house, what a fun way to end the weekend!
