"Snow Bug"
Daddy and the boys had a blast building this snow bug in the backyard! They thought of everything, six arms, antennae and all!
They even had 3-D glasses that turned each light into snowmen and snowflakes! It was freezing cold but we had a great time!
Then we walked over to see the reindeer that they had.
The kids thought it was pretty neat to see Santa's reindeer.

***A Funny Story:
The Christmas of
Prixen and Dixen!
inspired by Taylor Knight
One of our Christmas Eve traditions is a talent show where anyone can sing or tell jokes or do whatever. Any who this year we had some pretty good numbers! When it came time for Taylor to share his talent he sang Rodoulph the red nosed reindeer. As he was singing the intro he sang: "you know Dasher and Dancer and Prixen and Dixen, Comet..." As we all giggled at his little mistake he continued on and finished the rest of the song! Uncle Blaine was next and he sat on the stool with his guitar and as he started to strum he said "I'd like to sing a song in honor of those two forgotten reindeer Dixen and Prixen..." To which Taylor turns to me and says "I've heard this one!" everyone busted up and we couldn't stop laughing about it the rest of the night! Throughout the rest of the evening Blaine sang a bunch of different Christmas songs punching in Prixen and Dixen wherever he could. After many more references to Dixen and Prixen while opening presents, it became a whole family effort to put together a special song in honor of these two reindeer! So as we ate breakfast and then layed around we came up with this little diddy! I hope that you do enjoy because we had a BLAST putting it together and to us, 2009 will always be the Christmas of Prixen and Dixen!
